Common questions
What happens if a reminder fails to send and a license expires anyway?
NoLapse is a notification and verification tool — you’re always responsible for your own compliance. That said: reminders go out at five separate intervals (90, 60, 30, 14, and 7 days) through both SMS and email, and every send is logged. If SMS fails we fall back to email automatically. If a worker opts out of SMS, email still goes through. The system is designed so one missed message never means a missed renewal.
What if NoLapse shows a license as expired but the worker just renewed it?
State databases sometimes take a few days to update after a renewal is processed. If you know a credential was renewed, mark it as recently renewed in the dashboard and we’ll re-verify within 24 hours. We flag mismatches for review rather than triggering an alarm automatically.
My worker list is in a messy old Excel file. Will that work?
